HISTORY

Our company was created because of the interest of the shareholders in providing more efficient service to the companies of which they already were shareholders, and which used the services of other General Deposit Warehouses on a large scale, as well as to strongly exploit the concession that it applied for.
The shareholders of this company are businesspeople working in different areas of industry, such as: food, chemicals, construction and electronics.
The company has different types of merchandise warehoused in national territory, and provides its services to leading national and foreign companies in different economic sectors.
Almacenadora General has worked hard to bring about operational and legal changes that allow it to be a strong performer in the fields of financing and sales, with the advantage of having, at all times, real guarantees that fully cover the risks assumed.
The Board of Directors has imposed rigorous operating measures, and demands and offers a flawless history to its depositors. Thanks to this, in thousands of certifications, it has never breached a single Warehouse Certificate.
Since its founding, we have participated institutionally to make legal and operational modifications that expand the battleground of General Deposit Warehouses.
Currently, we actively participate in the Association of General Deposit Warehouses (AAGEDE), which is our connection with the global warehousing community.
In addition, since the 2003 sorghum harvest in Tamaulipas, an important synergy with ASERCA-SAGARPA (Agricultural Price Supports-Agriculture Ministry) was established, under which the General Deposit Warehouses, by means of Warehouse Certificates and writs, became a necessary requirement for the payment of the federal supports to the buyers of that harvest.
For the 2004 grain and oilseed harvests, ASERCA-SAGARPA has made it a requirement that the storage centers are implemented by a General Deposit Warehouse and that both Warehouse Certificates and writs are issued to the producers, who with those documents, can be eligible for federal supports. This concept may represent important future revenues for the participants.
Almacenadora General has implemented more than 100 warehouses, among which are distribution centers, port terminals, grain warehouses, industrial storage units and others.
We are part of global supply chains, in sectors such as chemicals, automotive, assembly, agro-industrial, food, retail, mining and cattle, among others.
